Overview
The American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) uses a 6-year continuing certification cycle with annual participation in all four parts. Year 6 has different requirements than Years 1-5, with either a Performance Pathway or computer-based exam.

- Ongoing throughout 6-year cycle

Year 6 streamlined option:
- Available in lieu of exam for eligible diplomates
- Eligibility criteria determine access
- Alternative assessment method
Tips for ABOG MOC
- Start early in the year — November 15 deadline is firm
- Track all four parts — Annual completion required
- Know your Year 6 pathway — Performance Pathway or exam
- Pay by August 15 — Avoid $50 late fee
- CME fees are non-refundable — Plan accordingly
