Tips for Connecticut Licensees

  1. Track the 6-year topics — Mandatory topics cycle every 6 years, not every renewal
  2. First renewal is free — Physicians exempt from CME until second renewal
  3. Keep records 6 years — Longer than most states
  4. PAs: Minimal state add-on — Just 1 hour beyond NCCPA
  5. Attestation-based — But keep documentation for 45-day audit response
  6. Behavioral health is 2 hours — More than the other mandatory topics
