U.S. Virgin Islands Physician & PA CME Requirements

Overview

The U.S. Virgin Islands Board of Medical Examiners requires both physicians and PAs to complete 25 hours of AMA PRA Category 1 CME annually — one of the few jurisdictions with an annual (not biennial) renewal cycle. Requirements are identical for MDs and PAs. All CME must be Category 1, with no Category 2 credits accepted. Licenses are active through September 30 of each year.
